What I learned in GIVES

  I have to say that it is an amazing period of time in GIVES.  During these days, not only did I learn how to be a leader, make an innovative and complete project and so on, but I also discovery my own potential, finding more interest in becoming a better volunteers.

  Thinking back what I learned in GIVES, I think it is impossible to count them one by one, either to write them in words.  But the only thing I’m sure is they are all very useful.  I used them not only in GIVES’s projects such as greenhead, I also use them when I’m the leader of fellowship and class.  I didn’t use them on propose, I just try my best to do everything, and then the “GIVES’s thinking” would suddenly go through my mind and create a great idea.  It’s a wonderful feeling to solve problem with “GIVES’S experience”.  I think it is the biggest gain I get in GIVES.

  Thanks Teacher Sylvia and all the members in GIVES.  It’s incredible to persuit our dream together!  

English writing practice---(writing_ topic_2010_01之一)

  Judy has been working at a fancy restaurant for 3 months.  This morning, she went to the restaurant normally.  Staying up for watching her favorite romantic movie last night, she was a little tired.  In spite of  feeling tired, she also couldn't concertrate on her work because of the movie.   Although this is the fifth time she watched this movie,  she was still thinking about every scene, every song, every character in it.  While she was immersing in her image, two naughty boys were chasing around in the restaurant.  When she finally realized that they would completely bump into her, it was too late.  Fortunately, Judy didn't fall down. But for the cosumer who sat nearby, it was really terrible that he was totally soaked by the soup carried by Judy.
  It occured so fast that Judy was really shock. Recovering from the fright, she said sorry again and again to the soaking cosumer.  Luckily, the cosumer didn't get angry. After the manager promised to give him a discount on the meal, this sudden event was over.  Judy said to herself, "Thanks to the nice cosumer, everything is all right.  I think I shouldn't stay up for the movie so late and being so careless while working.  Next time, I will only stay up for movies on the night before holiday!"

Maybe you're confusing why I'm always talking about Christianity.  Isn't a life full of the religion serious?  But for me, being a Christian isn't a" religious thing", but the way I live.

Christmas is around the corner. Without waiting  for Santa Claus, what else can we do?  I think, you can try to know about Jesus more, a God whose love is unending!

As Christians,  sometimes we think that we aren't good enough to serve our God. But if we always have a heart to honor Him, it's enough.  God will happily see what we're doing for Him.

Since I've been really busy these day,  I'm not sure when I will go to bed tonight.  I hope I can go to bed early because I'm really tired now!!!
